If you are looking for a church family, come to St. Martin's where you will find a warm welcome
A Message from the Diocese of Toronto
In concert with other dioceses, intinction (dipping the bread into the chalice) is no longer an acceptable
practice in the Diocese of Toronto since it is a significant health hazard. This is a revised protocol
updated since the publication of the March 2007 Influenza Pandemic Response Plan and the 2003/2004
protocols regarding the use of the common cup.
St. Martin's, Bay Ridges, a small friendly parish, exists "to worship God, to minister to the needs of the
community and help all people grow in faith and fellowship as a family of believers". All baptised Christians
are invited to receive both the bread and the wine at Holy Communion, or you may come forward for a
blessing, indicated by crossing your arms. If you are visiting with us, or here for the first time,
please sign our guest book. We hope that you will feel at home at St. Martin's as we worship. Go in peace
with God's Blessing and come again to God's house.
A A meets in the lower hall of St. Martin's: Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm
The opportunity continues to volunteer to help in the church. If you are already involved,
please put your name on the sheet, so we are up to date with our schedules and phone list.
Newcomers are encouraged to share in the work of the Church.
