My Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Once again, we’re on our journey toward Jerusalem. We'll need to keep our attention on why we're going to Jerusalem in the first place - because Jesus is walking this way and to really know what it means to be Christian, we’re sharing that walk. In Lent we relive the testing and temptation that Jesus went through. Lent is a time of self-examination as servants of Christ and Children of God. Lent is a season of personal growth, to make us even more aware of Christ's place in our life. By observing a Holy Lent, by taking time apart in quietness to reflect on the God’s Holy word, by discipline and remaining open to God’s will, we’ll arrive at the cross and the empty tomb with a clearer understanding of what we’re offered through the death and resurrection of the Messiah, our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
