St. Martin’s Prayer Shawl Ministry

The prayer shawl group gets together on the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. to knit or crochet shawls, lap blankets and baby blankets. Anyone with an interest in creating these items is welcome to come out and enjoy being part of the group; no previous experience is necessary, we will teach you! The prayer shawls and blankets we make are given to anyone we feel may benefit from the comfort of one of our shawls and the knowledge that they are in our prayers.

St. Martin's, Bay Ridges, a small friendly parish, exists "to worship God, to minister to the needs of the
community and help all people grow in faith and fellowship as a family of believers". All baptised Christians
are invited to receive both the bread and the wine at Holy Communion, or you may come forward for a
blessing, indicated by crossing your arms. If you are visiting with us, or here for the first time,
please sign our guest book. We hope that you will feel at home at St. Martin's as we worship. Go in peace
with God's Blessing and come again to God's house.
